On February 25, 2024 by traveluserToday I will list top 5 must read books which should be in everybody’s reading plan. These books are written in such a way that these will not only inspire you but will also take you on a journey. So, let’s get started…

This book is written based on the fourteen Tuesdays the student and the professor met each other; and the lifelong lesson that he understands from his professor. It has great motivational quotes of which one is “As you grow, you learn more. Aging is not just decay…it’s growth. It’s more than the negative that you’re going to die, it’s also the positive that you understand that you’re going to die, and that you live a better life because of it.” You will see yourself taking notes while reading it and I bet you won’t be disappointed.

How to Win Friends and Influence People is a self-help book by Dale Carnegie, published in 1936. It is timeless book and once you start reading it you will be able to relate it with your own life. The book consists of real-life examples and how they can be applied in our day-to-day life. It is highly recommended book by Warren Buffett as well. In today’s social media world this book is a must read from top 5 books to read.

The Alchemist is a novel by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho that was first published in 1988. It is a very inspirational story about a boy who is learning to listen to his heart, read the omens and follow his dreams. It is rightly said in the book – “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert’s story of growing up with two dads — his real father whom he termed as “poor dad” and the father of his best friend, his “rich dad” — and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explains the difference between working for money and having money work for you. It speaks the different aspects of our society like the education system, financial literacy and history of taxes. Finance education is one of key foundations of a person’s growth and this book very much deserves to be in to 5 books to read.

In 1942, with the Nazis occupying Holland, a thirteen-year-old Jewish girl and her family fled their home in Amsterdam and went into hiding. This book is a diary written by the young girl – Anne Frank while she was in hiding for two years with her family. It is a personal document of the holocaust and later became a classic of war literature.
Quote – “Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude.”
